Linda Star Wolf

Living from the Vibral Core

I have been a visionary teacher and Shamanic guide to thousands of people over the last 35 years. I draw deeply from the Earth wisdom teachings of my Grandmother Twylah Nitsch, a Seneca Wolf Clan elder who adopted me as her spiritual granddaughter and gave me the spirit name of Star Wolf. The Shamanic Breathwork (TM) process I developed draws from the Holotropic Breathwork of Stan Grof and from the Integrative Breathwork of Jacquelyn Small, with whom I worked at the Eupsychia Institute and became one of the lead trainers.

My personal commitment to sacred activism and visionary leadership led me to create Venus Rising Association for Transformation, Venus Rising University for Shamanic Psychospiritual Studies, the Shamanic Ministers Global Network, and, with my husband Brad Collins, the annual Wise Wolf Councils, a four-day gathering of spiritual leaders and lay people from around the world who come together to share their wisdom teachings and vision for our planet. In 2003, Brad and I co-founded the Isis Cove Community and Retreat Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina where we reside in community with 20 other shamanic practitioners and several dogs, cats, chickens, goats, birds, and critters of all kinds.

I have dedicated my life to helping others to release dysfunctional patterns of all kinds and to radically transform their lives. This journey began as a nationally certified alcohol and drug counselor in the mental health and addictions fields in the 1980’s. Drawing on my personal experience with recovery from addiction, I teach people how to awaken to the bigger picture, embody their own inner Visionary Shaman, and step into a life of passionate purpose. I have authored and co-authored several books, and I have been featured in various media outlets. I hold a BA in Human Services from St. Leo College, a Doctorate of Ministry from Summit University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Religious Studies from the University for Integrative Learning.
